Welcome to the Paleoclimate Society website! The Paleoclimate Society brings together paleoclimatologists based in the UK. Founded in 2016, it aims to:

• support scientific research in paleoclimatology
• support researchers at all career stages
• facilitate collaboration and networking within the UK paleoclimate community

The Paleoclimate Society hosts a conference roughly every three years called PACS. The inaugural conference was held in Cardiff in 2017, followed by a second conference in Burlington House in London in 2023. The next conference will be held in September 2027.
